Project Overview

Brighton Beach Memoirs was a wonderful opportunity to dive into the late 1930s, and tell the story of a loving, but struggling family. I adore nostalgia, and historic plays almost as much as I love a great texture, or vintage style apron. It was important to me to create clothes that felt loved, lived in, and perhaps a bit out of vogue (on account of being hand-me-downs).
